Data Deletion
Last updated: 13 June 2026
This page explains what data Encorra stores when you connect a Facebook Page (or linked Instagram account) for auto-posting, and how to delete it. It applies to the Encorra Facebook app and satisfies Facebook's data deletion requirements.
1. What we store when you connect Facebook
When a barbershop connects a Facebook Page in Encorra, we store only what we need to post on the shop's behalf:
- The connected Page's ID and name.
- A Page access token used to publish posts you schedule (stored securely and used server-side only).
- The linked Instagram business account ID/username, if present.
- Your auto-post settings (schedule and post types) and a log of posts we sent.
We do not store your Facebook password, your friends list, or any personal profile data beyond what is listed above.
2. Delete it instantly in the app
The fastest way to remove all Facebook/Instagram data is inside Encorra:
Settings → Marketing → Disconnect.
Disconnecting immediately and permanently deletes the stored Page connection, access tokens and schedule from our database. Auto-posting stops at once.
3. Remove the app from Facebook
You can also revoke Encorra's access from Facebook itself:
- Go to Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find Encorra and choose Remove.
This revokes the access tokens. We then delete the related stored data.
4. Request deletion by email
If you'd prefer, email us and we'll delete the data we hold for your Facebook connection:
hello@encorra.net — please send it from the email on your Encorra account, or include your shop name. We'll confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
Data controller: The Marketing Madmen Ltd, 25 High Street, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, NG21 9QP.
